Verse 1
This is my life testimony/Ill start off with the old me/my name is Jeffrey Wiebe/for those who do not know me/I'm from the midwest, down in southwest Kansas homie/this is where I reside and where I grew up/I was screw up/at least thats how I felt/most pain inside I held/didnt want anybody to know/thats not what I wanted to show/being hard's what I wanted to be/but I was blind and could not see, I could not see/walking down this dark road/I thought Id never go/but my heart was so cold/never felt this alone/no hope, so it goes/downward slope, oh no/can I go on anymore?/I dont know/
Chorus
My life, my story, this is my testimony/my pain, my struggles, Ill let u get to know me/
Verse 2
This is my life testimony/of how God one day showed me/the sin that I was living in was drowning my soul slowly/see I was hooked on drugs/at 16 started smoking bud/and then started popping pain pills/sniffing coc, my life my ill/my life was sick man/thought I needed to stay high/I needed medicine/so I wouldnt surely die/reminiscing, I was sitting locked up in that jail cell/Revelation brought conviction knew that I would go to Hell/I didnt want to live like this no more/that small still voice in my head I cant ignore/in the midst, of darkness I had found hope/or He found me cuz He was knocking at my door/
Chorus
I used to be a slave, bound to sin/but then through Christ I was born again/He gave His life for our freedom
